 ons you may have as you work on your first cases. For experienced CASAs\, 
 the series will not only be a refresher but will provide information based
  on the latest court procedural changes\, statutory amendments\, and the i
 mpact of recent appellate cases on our practice.\n\nThis training includes
  a discussion of pertinent Guardian ad Litem Rules but does not duplicate 
 the GALR training.\n\nCovered topics include:\n- Overview of the shelter c
 are process\n- Negotiating agreed dependency and dispositional orders\n- M
 otions\n- Confidentiality\, records\, discovery\n- Permanency planning fro
 m a legal perspective\n- The July 2021 Visitation Law/CASA responsibilitie
 s and rights/GALR\n- Working with CASA legal staff\n- Trial Preparation\n
 \nYour attendance will count towards your annual 12 hours of ongoing CASA 
 training requirement.
