 ant Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Social Work\, 
 present a comparison of Washington State data with other states in a train
 ing specifically created for the King County CASA program.    Many CASAs w
 ill remember Rebecca when she worked in King County for the Department pri
 or to pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Washington.  During her 6 ye
 ars at the Department\, she worked as a CPS investigator at the King East 
 and King West offices\, a CFWS worker at King East\, and ended her tenure 
 at the Department as an Adoptions supervisor.    While she lives in North 
 Carolina\, she remains an avid Seattle Reign\, Seattle Sounders\, and Seat
 tle Storm fan as her heart continues to be in the Northwest. \n \nAt UNC\,
  Rebecca both teaches MSW courses and conducts research examining the meas
 urement of and community responses to child maltreatment.   Rebecca specia
 lizes in using population-based linked administrative datasets and data sc
 ience techniques to better understand child maltreatment. She is the princ
 ipal investigator of the NICHD-funded research project\, “The impact of CO
 VID-19 on child maltreatment-related medical encounters and system respons
 es using linked administrative data.” Rebecca is currently funded by a K01
  award from the CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control to
  study the relationship between social safety net accessibility and violen
 ce against children\, which includes training in causal inference methods 
 (K01-CE003548-01).\nHer work has been published in academic journals\, suc
 h as The New England Journal of Medicine\, Pediatrics\, and Child Maltreat
 ment.  Her degrees include: Ph.D.\, University of Washington\, MSW\, Bosto
 n College\, EdM\, Harvard University BA\, University of Portland.\n
